Hi, the last deadline is in less than a week (03-07). Does someone want to apply?

Orion and me will be in sheffield that night, for the opening of my painting show.

ok, no problem geezer. oy oy savaloi !!!!
Dinner on friday is fine.
I summarize, for the home page there is 3 Solutions:

1/ Make one of the existing category to be the home page.
2/ Create a new category called Home or News to be the home page.
3/ Create a page ( like artists page ) to be the home page.

1 and 2 are a lot flexible. I think the second option is the best. Cause people just post stuff and you can then just decide if they have to be on the home page ( if the person haven't done it already ).

So shall I call it Home ?

Hi Thomas,

Website activity a bit low at the moment, suprisingly, as lots of things seem to be happening in different directions.

Now that we have this open policy, allowing visitors to see everything on website, Is it a good idea to have a front page that independent of all else, so that we can control what visitors when they first arrive on the site? so that new posts DO NOT go on front page unless the poster expressly puts them there, - they just go on the other page they are selected to go on, e.g. 'planning and discussion' or what ever.
Alternativly, it could be done by making the default page that people arrive on at the site a category, e.g. 'Home' or even "projects - future' or 'about'.

Also Miriam and steven are taking a back seat either travelling or concentrating on being able to have a mortgage to pay, can you move them both to associate artists - I could not see how this is done.

dinner on friday at yours then?

heu yes...
The plug doesn't work properly with this version of wordpress. Much newer then mine. So I have to do it manually every time we create a new category, even if it's in another category that is already hidden.
I do it.

That is brilliant, we should do it as its a coincidence, and because it will be a learned experience of course.

I spoke to Billy a couple of days ago, and he's organising a small Holmbush festival after all. He says protoPLAY should do a performance- its happening 20-22 July, so the week end we said we'll be meeting.

I changed a few things:

1/ Associated artists can only edit their page ( but not write new one ) and edit/write their posts. They still can comment every thing.

2/ Currents Artists can only edit the pages they own and create new one. they can edit all post and comments. ( except for Orion and I ).

3/ When you look a post you know have the name of the author.
