Magnus Williams(H5) is an avatar, a virtual being created by protoPLAY.
The Williams idiom has been used with great success during Deconstruction/Reconstruction (2006) and also notably in 2007 during a workshop with students at the University of Brighton. It easily passed the Turing test and beat the Universities computer at chess 9/10 times whilst simultaneously sustaining the interest and excitement of passers-by with pleasant casual conversation on the subject of Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
